Kane Lamberty
Kane Lamberty, a University of Central Florida graduate, started his illustrious career with the Department of Children and Families in 1990. With Kane’s voluminous understanding of complex Medicaid Policy, he quickly received promotion after promotion, and in 1999, he obtained the position of Senior Human Services Program Specialist in the Central Region Program Office. At this position, Kane thrived until he retired on his birthday in 2019. While at the Department of Children and Families, Kane’s duties included being a Trainer on Medicaid Policy, Policy Consultant, Virtual Policy Consultant with a discipline in trusts that he submitted directly to Circuit Legal Counsel, Case Review Consultant at the request of the Circuit Legal Counsel, the Regional Manager and State Headquarters, and participated in numerous Hearings defending and interpreting Medicaid Policy for the Department of Children and Families.
Additionally, Kane has been a featured presenter at the Florida State Guardianship Conference, the AFELA Un-Program, and many other prestigious conferences including being a co-presenter with Disability Rights Florida at the Family Café and the Guardian Ad Litem conference. He was also appointed to the Social Security Vocational Rehabilitation Panel at the Governor’s Family Café Disability Conference for 14 years, where he lectured in detail about Medicaid trusts.
After retirement, Kane anticipated a relaxing, stress-free life. However, he discovered that he had an extremely unique skillset. When attorney Tom Olsen approached Kane about establishing an Asset Protection and Medicaid Planning Division, he was happy to oblige, knowing that the Olsen Law Group has an exemplary reputation for integrity and great customer service. Kane has been able to bring 29 years of unique insider experience to the Olsen law Group, quickly identifying potential problems, offering solutions and “best practice” advice. Every case is different, so every case deserves a plan customized to meet the specific needs and desires of the individual client. It is a pleasure to be able to assist clients.
